Pumpkin isn’t just good for humans. According to Fetch by WebMD, pumpkins are packed with vitamins A, C and E, as well as iron and potassium. It’s also high in soluble fiber, making it great for their digestion. If your dog is ever experiencing tummy problems pumpkin is a good way to help. It can also be a delicious treat too! Here’s a super simple recipe for Peanut Butter & Pumpkin Bites that you can make for your dog.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- ½ cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Heat your oven to 375 degrees
- Mix pumpkin and peanut butter together in a bowl
- Mix in flour
- Roll dough into small pieces (or use a cookie cutter) and place on floured baking sheet
- Bake for 12 minutes
- Let cool before serving
Like all treats, these peanut butter and pumpkin bites are best eaten in moderation.
