Pumpkin isn’t just good for humans. According to Fetch by WebMD, pumpkins are packed with vitamins A, C and E, as well as iron and potassium. It’s also high in soluble fiber, making it great for their digestion. If your dog is ever experiencing tummy problems pumpkin is a good way to help. It can also be a delicious treat too! Here’s a super simple recipe for Peanut Butter & Pumpkin Bites that you can make for your dog.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • ½ cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Heat your oven to 375 degrees
  2. Mix pumpkin and peanut butter together in a bowl
  3. Mix in flour
  4. Roll dough into small pieces (or use a cookie cutter) and place on floured baking sheet
  5. Bake for 12 minutes
  6. Let cool before serving

Like all treats, these peanut butter and pumpkin bites are best eaten in moderation.
